I have some workarounds for you to get your application working again:
Reinstall all versions from the official download page ( This will include the old (older) version, the new (not yet released) version, and the new (released) version. If you need only the old version, you can select the update package for that particular version.
If that doesn't work, try the offline installer for the newer version. That is available here:
After that, all versions of the software should work again.
